~ Trapper is a simple, but challenging game. The object is to
trap the little Varment so he can't move, but at the same time
avoid coming face to face with him.
There are five game screens made up of sixty-six or fewer
blocks. The Varment will display his position and then move to
one of the adjacent blocks. Then you in turn will select one of
the blocks and remove it from the playing area, thereby giving
the varments less options to move. this continues until either
you trap the Varment or you run out of attempts. Each screen has
is own number of attempts.
While trying to trap the varment be careful not to select the
box that he is hiding in. If you do then he gets you and that
will end your turn on that screen.

~ You can only score points by trapping the varment. You will
recieve 500 points for trapping him and then 100 points bonus
for each attempt you have remaining.

~ To select boxes move the '>' marker to the box you want and
strike the Space Bar. To move the Marker turn your Num-Lock Key
On and use the 2(Down), 4(Left), 6(Right) and 8(Up).
The 'R' Key will redraw the screen in case of line noise or
use this option if you miss seeing the varment display himself.
The 'Q' Key is to quit before the game is over if you want
to do so.
Trapper has Hot Key's as a standard. You do not need to press
the RETURN (ENTER) key any where except where prompted to do so.
So if you press to many keys you might do something that you did
not intend to do. This shouldn't be a problem after you get use
to the game.

~ Trapper will also allow Make-Up Days and Playing Ahead Days in
the registered version. This will allow you to make up those days
that you missed and play ahead days that you may not be able to
play. The number of make-up days allowed per day are also set by
the sysop.
